Master of Business Administration in Management
The management of information systems and technology -- and of marketing and operations within
firms that rely on high-tech hardware and software -- requires highly specialized knowledge. It
just so happens that specialized knowledge is our specialty at Southern Polytechnic.
Our Master of Business Administration Program in Management is designed for professionals who
wish to enhance their knowledge of the field while continuing to work in a professional
environment. We've tailored our courses to suit the part-time student's schedule, so you'll find
the class you need to take when you need to take it.
The program is open to students with an undergraduate degree in the field as well as those with
other academic backgrounds. Students who do not hold an undergraduate degree take a series of
prerequisites in addition to the 36 hours of coursework required of all management students.
Courses include Financial Decision Making, Managerial Economics, Issues in International
Management, and Management of Information Technology. All of our classes provide excellent
teaching accompanied by other relevant experiences in the field. Students gain a background in
the theoretical knowledge, analytical techniques, and interpersonal skills they need to succeed,
and specialize in the area that most closely matches their career goals.
