How can a high school student get ahead?
Southern Polytechnic State University welcomes students who have pursued accelerated academic
course work while in high school or through recognized national standardized programs. Such
programs include College Board's Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and
College Level Examination Program (CLEP).
Advanced placement
Students may receive college credit for courses taken in high school based on their scores on the
Advanced Placement Exam. To receive college credit, students must score as follows:
