The mission of the Office of Housing and Residence Life at SPSU is to provide a variety of student housing options that are modern, clean, and conducive to the academic goals of the students who reside there. Our mission is to also provide opportunities for students’ personal and social development through program opportunities. We emphasize opportunities for educational, recreational, social and leadership development with the goal in mind that the students learn personal responsibility for the choices they make. Additionally, our residential communities reflect the nature of society today in that they are diverse in their makeup. We seek to provide students the opportunity to learn about people different from themselves by living together and by participating in events and programs together.
