Welcome to the School of Computing and Software Engineering.  We strive to be one of the best academic units in the world dedicated to all aspects of computing and its applications, including science, engineering and technology.  Through our educational programs, our research and scholarship, and our service to the community, we seek to empower individuals and organizations to improve the quality of life for people around the globe through the application of computing and information technologies.

In pursuit of our vision, we offer degree and certificate programs in all aspects of computing,
including computer science, information technology and software engineering, that combine hands-on experience with a thorough grounding in the underlying theory, thereby enabling our students to apply computing, software engineering techniques and information technologies to solve today’s real-world problems and face tomorrow’s challenges.  In addition, we conduct research in all aspects of computing, including computing education, and provide service both to the local community and the professional community.  All of us, faculty and staff, are committed to student success.
