Statement about commitment to sustainability

I have 30 years of experience in the indoor environment design and energy conservation issues as a licensed professional engineer and for both my MS and PhD degrees I have done research in building energy performance improvements. I am a certified energy manager by American Energy Engineers and a certified commercial building inspector licensed by city of San Francisco energy conservation ordinance. I teach building mechanical and electrical systems at Construction Management Department of the college of Architecture and have great interest in promoting sustainability at SPSU. I can contribute to the following tasks:  

1- Inclusion of sustainability in what I teach.

2- Help in establishing our campus sustainability policies and procedures, i.e.: 'SPSU Green Book'.

3- Help in reviewing and commenting on all SPSU construction projects from sustainability points of view.
