Statement about commitment to sustainability

I have been a chief business officer within the University System of Georgia for 17 years.  In this role, I have spent the majority of my career focused on the efficient use of financial resources and the operation of facilities for which I am responsible.  I also play a large role in capital planning.  My commitment is to educate myself so that I may make informed decisions which promote sustainability and consider long-term fiscal and environmental impacts.  By doing so, I hope to become a better steward of the resources entrusted to me by eliminating wastes and better preserving the campus for future generations.
