2012 Registration Information

To register your organization, complete this form and email to dramsey@spsu.edu or fax to     678-915-3991.

Who qualifies?

Public schools, private schools, home schools and youth organizations can register. Each registered organization may sponsor multiple teams. The $25 per organization registration fee provides for the following:
  • Copies of SimCity 4 Deluxe- National will provide each registered school with a download key for SimCIty 4 deluxe software.
  • A Future City poster.
  • A copy of the Georgia Educator's Handbook for each teacher involved.
  • A copy of the Georgia Student Handbook for each student involved.
  • A copy of the Mentor Handbook for each Engineer Mentor.
  • Access to the Fall training workshops for teachers and/or students(on camous and online).
  • The option to schedule an onsite Future City orientation for teachers, students, mentors, parents, etc.
  • Access to SimCity tutorials.
  • The option to include teachers, students, and mentors in Georgia Regional Future City email communications and tips.
  • Access to the Georgia Regional website.
  • The opportunity to send multiple teams to the Georgia Regional Competition that includes continental breakfast and lunch for all team members, t-shirt for all team members, eligibility to compete for the final round and all special awards, etc.
  • The option to schedule an inschool competition practice.
  • Competition door prizes.
All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in Georgia (as well as surrounding states) are eligible to participate in the Georgia Regional Future City Competition.
