The Construction Program's Advisory Board is comprised of professionals in the Construction Industry. The Construction Department at Southern Polytechnic State University was initiated, funded and developed by the construction industry in Georgia. We have been responsive to the needs of this industry in our twelve year history. Our curriculum is designed with industry concerns foremost. Our undergraduate course offerings have been scheduled such that industry employees can (with very few exceptions) be involved in professional development in construction education. Our Masters program is designed and scheduled entirely that way. Our Construction Advisory Committee is a major link with industry. As part of our outreach we offer industry workshops (seminars) with corporate sponsors through those industry organizations that have been instrumental in our development. Therefore, the faculty of the Construction Department at Southern Polytechnic have put together the following list of seminar topics for consideration:
