A wide variety of statistical analysis techniques are taught using lecture and hands-on Minitab computer exercises. Topics include probability, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, ANOVA, regression, Chi-squared tests, control charts, process capability and design of experiments. Lean topics include Kaizen Event Planning, Changeover Reduction, Value Stream Mapping, and Mistake Proofing. To earn the certificate, students must attend all scheduled sessions and pass the Black Belt exam. In addition, students must complete a Six Sigma project within 9 months of completing the course.
