Desktop Support Technician [DST] Certificate

The Desktop Support Technician (DST) Certificate program prepares individuals with little or no computer experience for an entry level career opportunity in the IT field. The 22 week curriculum includes both PC and Networking installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. The main focus of your classroom experience will be to obtain the A+/Net+ certification an added benefit is that it will also prepare you for the Server+ and Security+ certification exams. The DST certificate programs is used as electives for those interested in pursuing additional certifications such as MCSA, MCSE , CCNA : Routing and Switching, and Novell. The program is also a prep program for taking the industry standard CompTIA exams. (exams are not part of the curriculum and must be taken at a CompTIA approved testing center)
