Accelerated Training Program in Health Information Technology

Did you know that Atlanta is the nation's Health IT capital?  There are 200+ Health IT related companies in metro Atlanta.  Let us help you find a rewarding high-paying professional career in the Health IT field with only 80-hours of classroom training.

Program Description

The Accelerated Training in Health Information Technology (AT-HIT) is an intensive 80-hour workforce program on 10 consecutive Saturdays.  The focus of the training is to prepare students for employment in the surging HIT field in the shortest possible time.

In order to provide the best chance of employment we capitalize on a widely installed commercial Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to create a very successful hands-on experience. An employer always recognizes who genuinely knows the subject matter and who has only memorized it.  The knowledge you gain from our program is the primary reason for our overwhelming success.

Our program is so effective most students get Health IT jobs without the required number of years experience in healthcare! Some of our students have received and accepted professional jobs from Health IT and consulting firms while still attending classes.

Our graduates have the knowledge and skills to enter new career paths in the health IT industry in a number of positions including:

  • Patient's Data Security
  • Training
  • Sales & Marketing
  • Operations
  • Application Analyst
  • Customer Service
  • Quality Assurance
  • Data Recovery
  • Implementation Analyst
  • Project Manager
  • Business Analyst
  • Network/Systems Development
  • Go-Live Analyst

Prerequisite:  A bachelor's degree in IT or any related field i.e. Computer Science, Systems Engineering etc.  You can also be considered for this program if you have three+ years of IT experience.  If you don't have the IT degree or experience necessary to go directly into the HIT program you will need to take the IT Fundamentals class and it will prepare you to be admitted, after successful completion, directly into the HIT program.
