Industrial
Distribution (ID)
(Bachelor of Science
Degree Offered)
The Industrial Distribution degree prepares
the student for sales, sales management, and mid-management positions with
wholesale distributors who purchase, warehouse, sell, distribute, and service
a wide variety of industrial products. The day-to-day challenges faced
by the industrial distributor requires him or her to be a professional
with many capabilities. To fulfill this demand, the program of study includes
study in management, industrial engineering, communications, data processing,
and marketing.
This is one of the few industrial distribution
programs offered in the United States and the only one offered in Georgia.
