This program will serve the needs of those students who desire undergraduate education in management. Emphasis will be upon productivity as it results from the application of technology and creativity to the process of work within industrial and service enterprises.
The objectives of the program are as follows:
1. To prepare Southern Polytechnic State University graduates for successful and productive careers in the management of technology-based organizations and enterprises.2. To develop graduates who possess the knowledge and ability to enhance the competitiveness of business and industry within the State of Georgia through the application of technology to production processes.
3. To make available a wide variety of undergraduate management courses at Southern Polytechnic State University so that students in other fields may have the opportunity to take advantage of instruction in this field.
4. To increase the institution's value to business, industry, and the State of Georgia by increasing the scope of our technology-based instruction to include the field of management.
