Dr. Sidney Davis
Professor Emeritus

Professor Davis' primary focus is in the area of economics. His responsibilities include teaching economics, international business, and the development of the international dimension of the Management Program's academic programs.

He has traveled extensively throughout Europe and since 1996, Dr. Davis has been an invited visiting professor at Fachhochschule Anhalt, Bernburg, Germany. In 2004 he was selected to receive a Deutscher Akademischer Austauch Dienst (DAAD) Visiting Professorship.

Dr. Davis holds registration as a Professional Engineer in the states of Georgia and Alabama and is active as a consultant and expert witness.  His most recent publication, “Use of the Internet in Enterprise Purchasing: Recent Comparisons of Worldwide Practice”, appeared in the Proceedings of the 2005 International Conference on Management Science and Engineering.

Dr. Davis holds a B.I.E. degree from Georgia Institute of Technology; and an M.B.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Georgia State University.
