Grants

Our mission is to support and promote the sponsored program’s effort of Southern Polytechnic State University in a dependable and professional manner by assisting in managing awards, insuring compliance, maintaining fiscal accountability and advocating grants management and development. In addition to the oversight of the university budget, the office is responsible for the post-award financial administration of contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and other binding documents, and acts as the liaison with federal, state and private funding sources concerning related fiscal issues. Our office is also committed to providing accurate and timely reports for assessing actual performance against plan, and monitors fiscal performance to provide analysis and decision support.
