Tutoring

Tutoring is available in the ATTIC for basic CORE courses. The ATTIC Tutoring Center is located in Building A (Student Center). Tutoring is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tutors are available free of charge and without an appointment.

The ATTIC philosophy is that tutors are for instruction; therefore, students should not expect tutors to do the work for them. Tutoring should be thought of as a learning opportunity, not as a quick fix. Students should give themselves time to review assignments with a tutor before its due date. The tutors' goals are to assist the students in understanding their assignments and enable students to complete their assignments.
