Cultural, Social, and Educational Programs

International Student Association (ISA)

ISA is an organization based at SPSU that strives to aid and support international students through intercultural activities. ISA holds bi-weekly student meetings and events such as “CultureFest”. CultureFest allows international students to introduce their culture, food, and talents to the SPSU community.

Atlanta Ministry with International Students, Inc. (AMIS)

AMIS provides friendship and hospitality to more than 8,000 international students from 150 nations studying at colleges and universities in the metro Atlanta area. AMIS offers the following programs for international students: AMIGO friendship program, AMIS/KIWANIS Welcome Reception, Thanksgiving Dinner, and Christmas International House. 

Friends of Internationals (FOI) 

FOI is a partnership of community churches in the northwest part of Atlanta, GA. FOI’s purpose is to engage international students and scholars in activities with Americans that will establish cross-cultural friendships and encourage the open exchange of spiritual and non-spiritual ideas. The sponsored events and activities are from volunteers of FOI and are made available to international students, scholars, and their families regardless of race, nationality, or religious preference.
