If you are a student who has not yet declared a major or are undecided about what course of study to follow, you need to see an Academic Advisor before you register for classes. An Academic Advisor is available to assist you in selecting the best courses and the best course of action for your particular needs. Each term, prior to or during registration, do the following:
1. If you have not declared a major, you should make an
appointment with an Academic Advisor (contact the advisors
in The ATTIC, Building J, Room 253; 678-915-7903). Once you have been
advised, you will be issued an alternate pin number, which will allow
you to register for classes. If you are
seeking advice
about an Associates Degree, please contact the Department of Social and
International Studies (678-915-7442). If you have chosen a major, see your major department about having an advisor appointed. 2. Discuss with the Advisor the courses you want and need. If you are a transfer student, bring your transcripts and/or the Transfer Articulation sheet given to you by the SPSU Registrar. If you have previously attended college at SPSU, bring a copy of your transcripts. 3. Register for the courses you choose after being advised. If you have any questions or problems, contact The ATTIC for assistance. Attic
