Elections were held for the 2002-2003 academic year, with the following results:
Rich Bennett, Moderator; Steve Edwards, Secretary; Bernice Nuhfer-Halten, Tom Wiseman,
Planning Committee (Math and PCB Planning Committee membership will not change); Carol
Barnum and Joel Fowler, Nominating Committee.
Dean's Comments
The budget is winding down by the end of the month.
The Acting Dean's salary recommendations are finished. Evaluations were connected to
a numerical score, with percentage weights as follows:

The average recommended raise will be 3.25%, with a high of 4% and a low of 2.7%.
The A&S computer Technician position, funded by Tech Fee money, was funded at only the 50% level for next year.
Working documents will be used for promotion and tenure next year as the P&Ps are not finished.
Both the Biology degree and the International Studies degree have been approved and will begin in the Fall.
LaJuana Cochrane will be Program Head for SIS beginning Fall 2002.
