Student Affairs

The Department of Student Activities shares in the educational mission of the university by providing social, cultural, and leisure time activities which serve to educate, entertain, and develop social and leadership skills of students. The department coordinates the operation of the Student Center, which provides facilities and services for the campus community in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Sean is responsible for entertainment, cultural, and leadership programs, Orientation, and the University Ambassadors program. Sean has bachelors and masters degrees from Ball State University and comes to SPSU after working at Northwestern and Mercer Universities. 

Assistant Director for Student Center Operations:Leigh Ann Holton

Leigh Ann is responsible for reserving campus meeting space and the operation of the Student Center. She worked as a student assistant in the Student Center for four years before graduating from SPSU in 1997.

Student Assistants handle daily meeting room arrangements and provide customer service to any visitor to the Information Desk. They are on duty whenever the building is open.
