1. P&Ps:
The Senior Staff is continuing to work on final versions of revised P&Ps, with the coordination of Mary Phillips. Pfeiffer and Azebeokhai are drafting another revised leave policy.

2. Information Technology:
Pfeiffer mentioned that IT will continue to evaluate its organizational matrix in an effort to provide the best possible support to campus. Carden noted that IT has done an outstanding job helping shift to campus support of the online MSQA program.

3. Performance Appraisal Forms:
Deans are to get copies of the completed faculty evaluation forms to the VPAA office, as noted in the P&P. Now that we’ve been through the first year of a new evaluation system, Pfeiffer hopes to have the paperwork before the end of spring term in the future.

4. Distance Learning Plan:
Ramsey is working on the DL plan with Hamrick. They will meet next week and then inform the Deans Council of their findings. This topic and extra compensation will be on the Deans Council agenda for August 7, 2002.

5. First Graduate at Gainesville:
Carden noted that this summer we will have the first IET graduate from the Gainesville College collaborative program. The student is graduating with a 4.0.

6. Summer Graduation:
Deans are to remind the faculty by email that they should attend summer graduation if at all possible. It is important for parents to see a good showing from the faculty.

7. Future Meetings:
There will not be a Deans Council meeting on July 24, July 31 or August 21. There will be meetings on the dates below, with the main agenda items listed:
