Almost the entire meeting was devoted to strategies for dealing with likely cuts in the next Academic Affairs budget.  Members of the Deans Council expressed strong commitment for adequate funding for the CTE, Honors Program, International Program, and ATTIC--despite budget cuts.  They also indicated support for the Distance Learning Plan.  Discussion continued from the last meeting on the priority for various faculty positions.  As well, we put forth several models for distributing operational monies to departments and schools.
